I remember that other dream now!
Weird weird one...
meadmaker and I were at a hotel in Florida. I parked the car in the parking lot, and while we were entering the hotel lobby, somebody WALKED INTO IT and claimed serious injuries as a result.
The hotel morphed into a hotel/jail/courthouse/prison. It remained all of these, with an airport in back, for the remainder of the dream.
I was arrested, not allowed to contact a lawyer, tried without being allowed to even attempt to defend myself, and sentenced to 20 years in prison. I was then put into a "semi-solitary" cell. It was a cell with just a small peephole in the door, but I shared it with two other people. We were not allowed out of this room for anything.
I attempted escape many times, but was always caught.
So I tried something new using bees. Yes, bees. I'm not sure what I did, but it got me out of the cell, up to the lobby of the hotel, and I got out the door to my car (with my car keys miraculously in my pocket). My clothes and suitcase were still in the hotel room that I had been in, but I knew I didn't have time to get those.
So, I drove to my parents' house. I explained it all to my dad, who said, "
meadmaker just called. He said he got back ok, but he wanted to talk to me in person about you. I didn't like that." Hmmm. Anyway, I explained it to my dad, told him what had happened, and told him that I would likely be apprehended shortly, so could he please get in contact with a lawyer for me, since I was not allowed to do so myself?
So, he got the lawyer, and we all went back to the hotel. I went to my old room and got my suitcase. By that time, the authorities knew I was in the building, and were trying to locate me. They were trying to figure out which room I was in by net usage, but I wasn't online.
And then I woke up.
