It was a deliciously sensual throw (that I cuddled up in last night - although, alas, it was alone.), and a pair of singing crystals.

So, of course, I had to test the singing crystals - and I found their pitches. Oh what fun!

Two things today

1. Despite recent events, everyone I love seems to be doing "ok."

2. My roomie (aka Jinn) is a ROCK.

Alas, I am sitting at work with little to nothing to do. My updates have gone to the appropriate dept heads. My audit output ideas have been sent on to those folks.

Now I just have to wait until tomorrow afternoon's meeting.
Bleh.

As for today, I hope to go see a loss that I won't be handling, but that I'm starting for a guy who gets back next week. That, at least, will get me out of the office.

Tonight my folks plan to call at 6. I have to leave for a meeting at 7, and I'll see them on Sunday anyway. I love them, but, you know, this week is just amazingly busy as it is. I hope I at least get to have something for dinner.

But, on a lovely note, our secretary is a sweetie. Knowing that my folks celebrate Xmas, and that I was going to visit my niece and nephew, she gave me "magic reindeer food." It's oats and glitter, really. And there's a cute rhyme that goes with it:
