(no subject)

After a good night of vigil, I took some chat time, then went home to sleep for a whole hour.
Got up, showered, and meadmaker took me to the airport - where I boarded a plane for MSP (and ultimately Wausau) to visit my family in Wisconsin.

Slept on the plane.
Both of them, actually.
And in between was a picnic of KFC and brie at the mezzanine of the ticketing area of the MSP airport.

Now I'm in my old room, which has been converted into an office/guest room, and the kids are asleep - they were asleep when I got home.

I've had 4 hours of sleep in the last 42 hours. 3 of those were on a plane.
I think I need to zonk.

I miss meadmaker.
But I can't wait to see my niece and nephew in the morning...

Good Things for Today

1. When I woke up this morning, my parents' cats demanded food just like old times.

2. When my nephew woke up, he looked at me (still half asleep), and grinned his sleepy grin. *sigh*

3. My niece crawled into my bed to cuddle while I tried to go back to sleep.

4. I found the two things I hoped to find at Common Threads.

5. Mom's meatloaf for dinner

6. A tree waiting to be trimmed...

Ok, it was silly, but you know it means something when a 2-yr-old says:
