Ok, it's been a long time since really posting. Wow.

Vacation in Wausau was good. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting with my parents, my sister, her kids, some of my former coworkers, etc.

Side trip to Minneapolis was also rather enjoyable. ;)

So, on Tuesday, I got up, putzed around the house a bit, then went off to pick up [livejournal.com profile] meadmaker at the airport. :-D Wearing something he couldn't miss (as another person waiting for someone noted). What fun!

The last few days have been rather intense. Intense in spending time with [livejournal.com profile] meadmaker, intense in various conversations, with meadmaker, and with other folks, and just intense in general.

In many ways I feel like I'm in a holding pattern. Some things I'm doing HAVE to move forward. They just do. I can't stagnate. Other things are on hold while waiting for other things to sort out.

Wow. Busybusybusy.
If I were in a Kurt Vonnegut novel, I'd have to say that I could nearly be a Bokononist.

This weekend is exciting - many people with life milestones, and a date with a very cute woman. Mmmm - looking forward to tequila shots on Sunday night...

NEXT weekend is my company's holiday party on Friday followed by the Fetish Flea on Saturday. More fun!

The following weekend in Arisia, and I'll be there ALL weekend working with the FastTrack folks. I still have to figure out what I'm doing for the masquerade.

The following weekend is a friend's birthday party - but that is all that is planned that weekend so far. So far. I'm sure I'll have more to do. At least, I hope I do.

Then the following weekend is Imbolc, and January is over!

It's an exciting month, isn't it? So, if I haven't scheduled a coffee-date (or other date) with someone to whom that was promised, please don't be offended - the month has filled to somewhat insane proportions. There are still some responsible things I need to schedule, and then the fun can commence. *BWEG*

Yay!!!!

First day back at work after two weeks of hooky. Yay!

I only have three people left to call.
Two emails left to return.
And four pieces of mail to do something about.

I think they can all wait until Monday, since many folks are on vacation today, too.

As for now, I think I will do some grocery shopping on the way home, talk to the Jinn about dinner tonight (or sometime next week - we never do anything together since we've become roomies), and then FINALLY hook up my new DVD player and watch some flicks.

Yeah. That sounds like a good night.

Cancer Horoscope for week of January 1, 2004

Cancerian actress Pamela Anderson has become a Sunday school teacher who reads the Bible to kids. While some might wonder if the former Playboy centerfold has reformed and others might call her a hypocrite, she told the BBC there's no incongruity between her sexy image and her faith in God. I urge you to be inspired by Anderson's example in 2004, my fellow Crabs. You have the possibility of playing two different roles that many people imagine are incompatible. Who cares what they think? You can definitely go both ways without being either a contradiction or a fake.
