work stuff
Aug. 9th, 2004 01:56 pmThat's all that it is.
My claims are up to date (as in, the few that I work on directly).
My ticklers are all caught up.
I only have 9 ticklers left for the week.
I have two pieces of mail to deal with.
I have one file to get approval on.
And that's it.
That's it.
Oh, and I found out, today, that our annual meeting this year will be in Atlanta. Whee! Atlanta in February. Nice.

Anyone else had braces in the '80's?
Aug. 9th, 2004 02:50 pmI don't know about later years, but in the '80's, you got a "permanent retainer" on the back of your bottom front teeth. They were supposed to last about 20 years. Supposedly, by then, you would either not care, have new coverage for orthodontia, or they will finally be stable.
Mine just came off. I was flossing my teeth after lunch, and it moved. I can feel the smoothness of the back of my bottom teeth for the first time in 19 years!
It feels really really strange.
Guess it's time for a cleaning.
