Two Good Things

I'm keeping this up. I plan to do this daily for as long as I need to in order to truly recognize what great things my life has before me.

1. Honest discussions. Ok, they're not always pleasant, and sometimes they're painful. But they are honest, and I'm beginning to realize that NOT sharing some things is along the same lines as lying.

2. MOS Membership! We're going to the LotR exhibit on Friday!!!!!

Basement Progress

It's been slow cleaning and organizing the basement. Too often, other things come up, and it gets shoved off. No more! We need to focus. We need to get the basement done so that the wine racks can go up and we can do the garage sale and everything. Yay!

But, one more set of shelves to put together. Yay! And next on the agenda is taking care of the 40' ladder and straightening up the workbench area. Create some sort of organization, at least. Even if it's just boxes.

Next on the agenda in the basement is the "pile-o-stuff." Behind it is another set of shelves, and I believe if we go through these things systematically, and put things in new boxes that are not falling apart, we can easily get to a place of organization in the entire basement.

Then we sweep and put up the wine racks.

Yup. I wonder if it would be too much to otherwise mop the basement floor. Perhaps I shouldn't have thrown away my old floor mop.

Ah, well, not there yet. It's progressing, though. It WILL BE DONE.
