No odd things happening.
Except, I just realized that my boss is out of the office tomorrow. That will be strange.
Apparently, he will be retired before our new claim management system is operating properly.
I did find out that there are two applicants for the manager position. One is my current claim examiner, and the other is the OTHER claim examiner. This, in turn, will leave one of the examiner positions open. Not that I think I have the experience for those, either, but our VP might think so.
Anyway, if it's the one who is NOT my current examiner, I will be thrilled. He was my manager once before, and I thoroughly enjoyed working for him. He was extremely fair, and understood having a life.
Funny - if it's him, I'll be working for someone who has seen me in less clothing than most folks who are reading this. Not that there was ever anything between us, but he was part of the Wausau Insurance Music Society, and came down to the dressing rooms while I was getting changed back into street clothes. He thought nothing of it because, well, it's theater. It happens.
*giggle* But, then again, I am the ONLY person in the department who can say I've seen him in a fuschia flouncy shirt...nobody would believe that.
