So, what's the price? (Freewill Astrology for this week)
Cancer Horoscope for week of April 22, 2004
The DuPont company has patents on 17 varieties of corn. Yoga teacher Bikram Choudhury has copyrighted and trademarked his poses and breathing techniques. Corporations are acquiring private ownership of fresh water that once belonged to local communities. McDonald's virtually owns the prefix "Mc," and sues new businesses with names that begin with those two letters. In the entrepreneurial spirit of these big thinkers, and by the authority of the planetary gods, I hereby present you Cancerians with full possession of the Dionysian spirit, good for the next four weeks. Now go party harder and smarter than you've ever dared.
Emphasis mine. Alas, how can this be possible? I must be responsible and take care of things, like getting the move done, etc. At least the charge covers things like, oh, Beltane, and gets me past my exams.

Why not?
Besides, don't you have a special relationship with Him?

And attending his namesake restaurant tonight, even!
It'd be like... a sin not to have some wine... or something....

PS Where'd you get your current default icon from? A lot of people have them, and I want one too!

I'm Joan - just moved here about 2 years ago, and fell into communities that have now overlapped to the point of absurdity (as one friend put it - the world is the size of a small raisin.)
I'm right near where Belmont St and Grove St intersect. So I'm 1/4 mile from Rancatore's (which is an important thing to know in the summer).
The site for the icons is:

I made a really cute icon, but I'm a Mac user. So I'm going to have to redo it on our house PC. Darn!
PS Again: Having an LJ-themed party at our house the evening of 5/22. Everyone who attends has to be an active LJ user. Go to my recent posts or so for details.
