If you like, post a memory of me in the comments. It can be anything you remember, but try to remember as much detail as possible about the moment. Then post this in your own journal.

Date: 2004-04-26 10:15 am (UTC)I remember you coming over to help
I remember when you and I were walking out in the woods last October. I think we were walking off the paths from Sheepsfold Meadow, up in the Fells. We walked along, having a conversation about where we saw part of our lives going, and we crossed paths with a man with the cutest dog. The man told us that the dog was a litter-mate to a dog that had won a championship at a dog show two years ago, but that this one had a defect that would keep it from ever competing. However, this was a very friendly dog, who was very happy to be walked for the first time in a while because the owner was recovering from a surgery.
I remember going to the New York Renaissance Faire with you (By the way, tickets are currently going for an early bird special; would you like to go this year too?). You wore your green bodice, though you tried to wear your red. You and I spent a good time wandering around, experiencing various acts, including The Crimson Pirates, and a very entertaining stage magician. We had quite a lot of fun, including sitting on the back bumper of your car while eating cheese and bread.
I remember how beautiful you looked in your blue silk Mandarin dress on the night of your company holiday cruise around Boston Harbor.
I remember seeing you around your family, including your nieces and your nephew. Your face lights up at their names, much less their presence. You adored how your niece and nephew would dance together to Sleeping Beauty; you loved that your niece won her girl scout baking competition. You positively glowed all week.
You had such fun playing hide-and-seek with your niece. Where's B_____? Is she under the bed? Noooooo.... Is she behind the chair? Noooooo.... Is she under the lamp? Noooooo.... Is she under the cushions? Noooooo....
You know, as I started this out, I had troubles coming up with memories that weren't intensely personal. However, as I got going, it became easier and easier. You're quite a memorable woman!
