(no subject)

AIM is spotty. Checking email is difficult.
LJ is my main link with the non-insurance world right now. So, a few notes...

It was finally announced! I am now a "Special Examiner" in our Home Office! Yay! This means that I am the go-to person on claims that are complex, and on litigated and pre-litigated files, as well as dealing with coverage issues and training of our field adjusters. It also means that I get to stay involved in all the projects. Yeah. ALL of them. Ah, well, it's not like I wasn't doing that already.

So, it's a grand promotion, it moves me completely into Home Office, and I'm nervous.
Yeah. Nervous.

But it's a good thing.

W00t! :) Go, you! If I thought you'd have time to go out tonight, I'd buy you a drink.

Ah, thanks. No, I'm not planning on surfacing until June - well, except for those things that are required.
Yeah.

Thanks, though.

"Special Examiner"? Sounds sorta kinky to me.
(Congratulations!)

It does, doesn't it?
Hmm. Now I have to consider how to use this to my advantage.

Maybe we can schedule a "special examination" for June when your rush is over.

Big ups! I know you're nervous about the promotion but it sounds like recognition for the job you were already doing.
