Hmmmm - weather's starting to turn cold. I know we haven't hit Yule yet, but I wanted to get a measure of interest...

When I lived in Wisconsin, I traditionally held a "Jimmy Buffett Party" in early-mid February. Crank up the heat, everyone dresses for the beach, we drink margaritas and daiquiris (or whatever you want, really, but just play along right now...) Play appropriate tropical music (there's usually at least one full play through the Songs You Know by Heart CD), have appropriate foods (key lime pie, grilled whatever, someone even once made a tropical island dessert - an island of nilla wafers surrounded by blue jello with gummi sharks in the jello, and something for the trees on the island).

It's a fun time, really.
So, um, now that I have displayed my not-so-hip tendency here, any interest?

pheromone traditionally has an indoor beach party in honor of her birthday in early-to-mid December. It's always great fun. So I vote yes. And if it doesn't conflict with Pheromone's, I'll go. :-)
